Art prayer presents a powerful opportunity to experience our faith using a different, yet often natural visual language.  Whether through creative expression or by viewing, art can connect and engage our hearts and minds in new and powerful ways.

Praying with Art is a spiritual practice in which one uses images instead of words to express feelings that are beyond scripted prayer.  The art can be images from books or magazines, or created images such as simple pencil sketches, watercolors, or other art media.  This guided process allows another way for one to get in touch with the holy within oneself and listen and see with the ears and eyes of the heart.
