Texas Video Telehealth

Video telehealth, sometimes called “telemedicine,” lets you meet with your service provider without having to go to our office. You can use video telehealth online using your computer or tablet, or you can use a smartphone. This is particularly useful to overcome barriers of transportation and distance, or if the provider or patient are not feeling well and want to avoid personal contact to avoid spreading a cold or other contagious illness.

Gratia Plena mental health providers can meet with anyone located in the state of Texas. However, our spiritual directors can meet with people across state lines.

Your service provider will schedule the video telehealth session and you will receive a connection link. We use Microsoft Teams because it is HIPAA complaint, safe, and secure. Invoices are created and sent the previous day, and payments must be made in advance of the meeting. You must be in a location where you have privacy, and you must inform your provider of the address of your location. We cannot provide video telehealth to patients while they are driving. Video telehealth may not be available for some intake evaluations, and it may not be available for people in crisis.
