In 2015, Fr. Frank Fabj, the late beloved pastor of St. Frances Cabrini parish, invited Gratia Plena to offer counseling services in southeast Houston. The organization borrowed an unused small office on the parish property. As more people sought counseling assistance, Gratia Plena searched for commercial office building space in Pearland, Friendswood, Clear Lake, and NASA areas. The high cost of office space in these areas made the search challenging.

Finally, Gratia Plena found a good space only 4 minutes from St. Paul Catholic Church in NASA. The organization moved its Cabrini office to the new building in November 2016 and decided to keep the name to honor St. Frances Cabrini. The new office space offered a private waiting area plus two offices.

In 2019, Gratia Plena moved from the 1100 building to the 1110 building on NASA Parkway to have a larger waiting area and an additional room for meeting their guests comfortably.

In 2024, Gratia Plena moved to the Apollo Building at 1115 Gemini Avenue, not far from the old address. This historical building was used by a NASA contractor when the space programs were booming. This new location gives us five rooms to meet with clients. The Cabrini office has five counselors (2 of which are bilingual), and two which are trained and experienced spiritual directors.

Due to its proximity to I-45, Gratia Plena’s NASA office serves the Bay Area and Galveston Deaneries. It serves the communities of Friendswood, Clear Lake, NASA, League City, Texas City, Dickinson, and LaPorte, and is reachable from Galveston Island.
