"I command you: be strong and steadfast! Do not fear nor be dismayed, for the LORD, your God, is with you wherever you go." - Joshua 1:9
About Janette Milmoe
Janette earned her Master of Education in Counseling and Development from Lamar University. With fourteen years of experience in education—seven as a classroom teacher and seven as a school counselor—she has spent her career helping children, adolescents, and families navigate life’s challenges. Today, she devotes her practice exclusively to counseling clients at Gratia Plena.
Since 2011, Janette and her husband have been active parishioners at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Nassau Bay, where they are involved in several ministries. Her Catholic faith is central to who she is and guides the care, encouragement, and sense of purpose she brings to her work as a counselor.
Whether working with children, adolescents, or adults, Janette strives to create a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward lasting growth and emotional well-being.
Why I want to work with Gratia Plena:
Counseling has always been more than a profession for me. Throughout my years as a teacher, school counselor, and now therapist, I have felt called to walk alongside people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. As a Catholic, I have experienced the strength, hope, and healing that come from a relationship with God, and I believe faith can be an important part of the healing journey for those who desire it. Working at Gratia Plena provides an environment where clinical excellence and the truths of our faith work together to promote authentic healing.
