About David Thies
David graduated with a master’s degree in Counseling from Lamar University and also holds a master’s in Theology from the University of St. Thomas (Houston). He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Business from Loyola University New Orleans. David worked in youth ministry for over 12 years and during his last year received the Rose Mary Hood Memorial Recognition for Outstanding Coordinator of Youth Ministry Award from Cardinal Dinardo. He and his family are parishioners at St. Cecilia Catholic Church.
