We have been focusing our Book and Movie recommendations on the Eucharistic Revival. This month, we recommend the video from Word on Fire and Bishop Barron “The Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.” This is a recording of his keynote talk at the 2020 Los Angeles Religious Education Congress. He notes the widespread misunderstanding of the Eucharist and a massive failure in communicating the doctrine of the Real Presence. “It is time for all of us –Catholic catechists, educators, and evangelists–to pick up our game about this essential sacrament.” The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life.
