Bilingual Counselor (Updated June 2020)

Mental illness or addictions treatment professional to provide evaluations and psychotherapy services (licensed or license-eligible in Texas) for non-profit 501(c)(3) counseling organization in the geographical area of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. Adjustable salaried work could initially range from intern to part-time to full-time position as caseload grows to the level desired. Basic computer skills required (Microsoft Office, Internet navigation, et cetera) in order to maintain electronic records. Candidate should be able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing.  Conversational bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are required for this counseling position. This position may require some infrequent travel around the Houston area. Some public speaking is a possibility if interested in prevention work. Bilingual Office Assistant (Updated June 2020)

Will assist with organization administrative maintenance for a rapidly growing faith-based nonprofit. Duties may involve some basic data entry, records organization, cheerfully, compassionately, and professionally greeting visitors and callers, administrative support of counselors, taking payments, making copies, et cetera. Reports to organization Business Manager. Basic computer skills required (Microsoft Office, Internet navigation, email, et cetera). Must be able to communicate professionally in writing and on the phone.  Medical office experience helpful but not required. Bilingual (Spanish/English) language skills required. This is a part-time position without benefits. May require some infrequent travel around Houston.
