Funding Development / Grants Specialist

SUMMER 2017:  Gratia Plena seeks for the first time, a part-time or full-time professional to join our dynamic team with a specific focus on developing and expanding our donor base, and management of our grants search, applications, and maintenance for this rapidly-growing 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The applicant should be enthusiastically connected to our corporate mission, with a solid knowledge and appreciation for Catholic social justice, who carries a spirit of teamwork and service, and having the ability to collaborate through positive relationships with the executive director, business manager, and our excellent Board of Directors. Computer and Internet skills, writing skills, presentation skills, and successful experience in development and grant application activities are required. Hours flexible and work location can be varied between corporate office in the Sugar Land / Stafford area and your home. Bilingual Counselor

FALL 2017:  Mental illness or addictions treatment professional provides evaluations and psychotherapy services (licensed or license-eligible in Texas) for non-profit 501(c)(3) counseling organization in the geographical area of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. Adjustable salaried work could initially be student intern to part-time to full-time as caseload grows to the level you desire. Basic computer skills required (Microsoft Office, Internet navigation, et cetera) in order to maintain electronic records. Candidate should be able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing.  Conversational bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are required for this counseling position. This position may require some infrequent travel around Archdiocese, so a personal vehicle and driver’s license are required. Some public speaking is a possibility if interested in prevention work.
